WeFit RPE: a rebuild plus a secure training portal
A specialist site rebuild plus a secure training portal that turned an in-person accredited course into a product customers log into.
The client
Wefitrpe Ltd has been keeping workers safe since 2002. Based in Basildon, they are accredited specialists in face fit testing and training for respiratory protective equipment (RPE), working with companies across the UK whose staff depend on masks fitting properly.
The problem
Two problems, really. The public website ran on a dated page-builder theme that undersold a highly accredited specialist business. And their accredited training material lived in a slide deck that could only be delivered in person, with no way to offer it to customers online without losing control of the content.
What we built
- A rebuilt marketing site on a custom, hand-coded WordPress theme: fast, mobile-first, with dedicated pages for face fit testing, training, open courses, and pricing, each structured to rank
- A secure training portal at its own address, where customers log in with individually issued accounts and work through the full accredited training deck, video content included, with presentation-style controls
- Content protection throughout the portal, because the training material is the product
- Hosting and infrastructure for both, managed, monitored, and backed up by us
The outcome
The training portal is live and delivering the accredited course to logged-in customers. The rebuilt marketing site is in final review before launch. One niche business, one developer, and a web presence that finally matches the quality of the work: that is the point.
